Michael Amante in ConcertMichael Amante, one of the most talked about American tenors on either side of the pop/classical divide, creates buzz among everyone who hears his voice. A charismatic, romantic tenor, Michael Amante captures in song the heart and soul of pure romance. His self-titled debut album took the world by storm, placing him #1 on Billboard Magazine's 2002 Year-End Top Midline Classical Artists chart and putting him in the company of the world's great tenors Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, and José Carreras. Regis Philbin called him "The Fourth Tenor..." Tony Bennett called him "the next Mario Lanza..." and Pavarotti called him to perform in his place due to illness. Clearly Michael Amante is a world-class talent whose time has come.
