The 2023 Minty Awards

The 2023 Minty Awards honors theatre excellence in the Staten Island Catholic High Schools. All 6 Catholic High Schools will come together on June 4 for an event unlike any other on Staten Island.

Join us, and an expected audience of over 1000 students, families and friends, as each school performs highlights from its musical production and 13 awards are handed out throughout the evening. The evening concludes with the presentation of the organization’s highest honor “The St. Genesius Award for Outstanding Musical.”

Starring the casts of Msgr. Farrell’s “Into the Woods,” Moore Catholic’s “Newsies,” Notre Dame Academy’s “Footloose,” St. Joseph by-the-Sea’s “Les Miserables,” St. Joseph Hill’s “The Wizard of Oz,” and St. Peter’s Boys’ “The Addams Family.”

Founded in 2010, The Minty Awards has saluted the best and brightest of Staten Island’s Catholic High School Theatre Departments, donating over $120,000 back to the schools.
