The St. George Theatre is proud to support and partner with the Staten Island community all year long in a number of ways:

On Your Mark

The St. George Theatre has been a proud supporter of On Your Mark, an organization dedicated to aiding those with developmental disabilities and their families. As a customer of On Your Mark Chocolatiers, the St. George Theatre offers their wide variety of delicious chocolate candies at the concession stands for all public performances at the theatre. Made and manufactured by On Your Mark’s clients, these treats are a fan favorite of our patrons!

P721 The Richard H. Hungerford School

The Hungerford School, which provides quality and rigorous individualized educational programs to students with significant challenges and diverse learning styles, partners with the St. George Theatre each academic school year. Students from The Hungerford School participate in a work-study program at the St. George Theatre twice per week to get on-the-job-experience that nurtures independence, ensures dignity, and supports integration into the community.

Lifestyles For the Disabled

The St. George Theatre partners with Lifestyles For the Disabled for our Arts-in-Education (AIE) Series. Each academic school year, adults with developmental disabilities from Lifestyles serve as greeters for our AIE series, welcoming students as they arrive for class trips and giving out programs.

Holiday Toy Drive

In December 2020, the St. George Theatre partnered with the Minority Women in Business Association of Staten Island, Robert DeFalco Realty, JMT Media, and Mrs. Rosemary’s Dance Studio to host a toy drive benefiting Project Hospitality and Community Health Action of Staten Island. Together, we received over 1000 toys from many individuals and other organizations, including the Holy Name Society of Holy Family Church and Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn, who brought over 400 toys combined that were distributed to children of underprivileged families for the holidays.
