Parking is also available in the St. George Municipal Garage across the street from the theatre on Central Avenue behind the Richmond County Supreme Court building (event rate is $12), and metered parking on Hyatt Street and the neighboring blocks (rates may vary, FREE after 7pm and on Sundays)
The St. George Theatre is nestled in the historic St. George district of Downtown Staten Island, New York – easily accessible by car, bus, train, and the Staten Island Ferry!
Take the Verrazano Bridge and stay on the lower level. You will exit immediately after the tolls to your right. Exit will read: Bay Street. At the first traffic light turn LEFT onto Bay Street. Take Bay Street for approximately 2.5 miles, then turn LEFT onto Slosson Terrace. At the stop sign, make a RIGHT onto Central Ave. At the next stop sign, make a LEFT onto Hyatt Street and the theatre will be on your right side.
Take the Bayonne Bridge to RT-440 South (West Shore Expressway) toward Staten Island. Take the exit toward Morningstar Road and turn RIGHT. Take Morningstar Road down to the end, and turn RIGHT onto Richmond Terrace. Take Richmond Terrace approximately 3 miles, then turn RIGHT on Schuyler Street, followed by a quick LEFT on Stuyvesant Place and a quick RIGHT on Hyatt Street, and the theatre will be on your right side.
Stay on the Staten Island Expressway, 278 East, toward Brooklyn/Verrazano Bridge. Get off exit # 12 TODT HILL, SLOSSON AVE. At the light, make a LEFT onto Slosson Avenue. Pass 3 lights and make a RIGHT onto Victory Blvd. Take Victory Blvd down to the end to Bay Street. Make a LEFT onto Bay Street. At the next traffic light make a LEFT onto Slosson Terrace. At the stop sign, make a RIGHT onto Central Avenue. At the next stop sign, make a LEFT onto Hyatt Street and the theatre will be on your right side.
When exiting the bridge stay to your right and get off exit # 2 (West Shore Expressway) RT-440 to 278 East (Staten Island Expressway). At the end of the West Shore you will bear right onto the Staten Island Expressway toward Brooklyn. Get off at exit # 12 TODT HILL, SLOSSON AVE. At the light, make a LEFT onto Slosson Avenue. Pass 3 lights and make a RIGHT onto Victory Blvd. Take Victory Blvd down to the end to Bay Street. Make a LEFT onto Bay Street. At the next traffic light make a LEFT onto Slosson Terrace. At the stop sign, make a RIGHT onto Central Avenue. At the next stop sign, make a LEFT onto Hyatt Street and the theatre will be on your right side.

Public transportation riders can take any bus that stops at the Staten Island Ferry, or the Staten Island Railway, and the St. George Theatre is just a short walk from there following the directions below.

The St. George Theatre is just two blocks from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. When exiting the ferry, walk up to street level, Richmond Terrace. Across the street you will see a large historic building, Staten Island Borough Hall. Walk to the RIGHT of the building and go up the steps to Stuyvesant Place. Make a quick LEFT and then RIGHT onto Hyatt Street. Walk straight up Hyatt Street and the theatre will be on your right side at the top of the block. It’s a bit of a hill but a short walk!
